EU Refuses Oral Hearing In Intel Probe: Report

Law360, New York (February 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Commission has reportedly denied a request by Intel Corp. for an oral hearing in the EC's probe into whether Intel used its dominant market position to muscle competitor Advanced Micro Devices Inc. out of the computer processor market.

Intel's request for an oral hearing was rejected by the commission's hearing officer, Reuters reported Monday, citing an EU official.
