Pa. DEP Unveils Draft Methane Regs Amid GOP Opposition

By Dan Packel (February 6, 2017, 6:10 PM EST) -- Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection on Saturday unveiled draft regulations for a state plan to reduce methane from natural gas production against the backdrop of a proposed law that would bar the plan from going into effect.

The DEP on Monday announced the opening of a 45-day public comment period for input on the two permits for unconventional natural gas wells and natural gas compressor stations.
