Deals Rumor Mill: Blackstone, Toshiba, Ant Financial

By Benjamin Horney (February 9, 2017, 7:26 PM EST) -- Private equity giant The Blackstone Group LP will acquire Hewitt Associates Inc. from insurance broker Aon PLC in a deal worth roughly $4.8 billion, Reuters reported on Thursday. The news comes only about a month after reports said that Clayton Dubilier & Rice LLC was in advanced negotiations to buy the business, which other companies use to outsource the administration of employee benefits. The agreement will be made public this week, the report said. Aon acquired Hewitt in 2010 for $4.9 billion....
