Charys Holding's Reorganization Plan OK'd

Law360, New York (March 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Charys Holding Co. has moved one step closer to emerging from Chapter 11 now that a bankruptcy court has confirmed a joint plan of reorganization that includes settlements with bondholders and other individual creditors and leaves the company with enough assets to pay back the bulk of its remaining creditors.

In an order lodged Feb. 26 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Judge Brandon Linehan Shannon signed off on the company's first amended joint plan of reorganization, which restructures the debt obligations...
