Spurned Parts Maker Sues GM, Suppliers Over Patent

Law360, New York (March 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Automotive parts manufacturer Coupled Products LLC has slapped General Motors Corp. and two of its suppliers with a suit accusing the companies of willfully infringing a patent covering a hydraulic assembly used in power steering systems.

Coupled Products filed its complaint Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana against GM, as well as Mando America Corp. and Nobel Automotive Mexico LLC.
