Speed Up Drug Seizure Probe, Senator Demands

Law360, New York (August 22, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pushing for prescription drugs from Canada, Florida Senator Bill Nelson is sending letters to urge Senate leaders to accelerate an investigation into the Food and Drug Administration’s seizure of drugs at the Canada-U.S. border.

Nelson, a Democrat, plans to send letters Wednesday to the head of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Sen.
