Ex-National Century Exec Sentenced To 2 Years

Law360, New York (March 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has sentenced a former executive of National Century Financial Enterprises Inc., the health care finance company whose collapse in 2002 cost investors $1.9 billion, to two years in prison.

On Friday, Judge Algenon L. Marbley of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio sentenced former vice president Jon Beacham to two consecutive terms of one year behind bars for securities fraud and conspiracy.
