8th Circ. Panel Won't Revive Optomec Age Bias Suit

By Adam Lidgett (March 1, 2017, 6:15 PM EST) -- An Eighth Circuit panel on Wednesday affirmed additive manufacturer Optomec Inc.'s district court win in a suit filed by a former employee claiming he was fired because of his age, saying the man didn't present sufficient evidence to raise a genuine issue for trial over alleged discrimination.
