Lannett, Albion Spar Over Generic Vitamins

Law360 (March 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Pharmaceuticals companies Albion Laboratories Inc. and Lannett Co. Inc. are engaged in a war of words over Albion's claim that Lannett committed patent infringement by incorporating Albion's iron supplement Ferrochel into a generic neonatal vitamin.

Albion sued Lannett in July in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, alleging that Lannett's generic version of KV Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s Prima Care One vitamins included Ferrochel without Albion's permission.
