ITC Extends Comments On US Steel's Antitrust Claims

Law360, Washington (March 8, 2017, 9:03 PM EST) -- The International Trade Commission is seeking further public comment on United States Steel Corp. antitrust claims against Chinese steel manufacturers, delaying oral arguments scheduled next week for more than a month, according to a Federal Register notice scheduled for publication Thursday.

The ITC had previously set a March 14 date for possible oral arguments in the case regarding U.S. Steel's Section 337 allegations Chinese steel companies are undercutting the domestic steel industry by price-fixing, misappropriation of trade secrets and efforts to conceal the origin of their products in order to dodge standing import tariffs.
