Last Claim Nixed In Tantalum Antitrust Suit V. Cabot

Law360, New York (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Cabot Corp. has won dismissal of an antitrust case filed five years ago by electronic parts maker AVX Corp. accusing the specialty chemicals company of coercively tying the purchase of two types of tantalum powder as part of a supply agreement.
