Pediatrix Settles SEC Backdating Claims

Law360 (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Pediatrix Medical Group Inc. has reached an agreement with federal regulators settling claims that the company backdated stock options grants to executives and employees from 1997 to 2000.

The Sunrise, Fla.-based physician services provider, which is now known as Mednax Services Inc., agreed to a permanent injunction barring it from future violations of federal securities laws, according to documents filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
