Ore. Court Refuses To Review LNG Facility Challenges

Law360 (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Oregon state court on Wednesday denied as untimely a petition for judicial review of a land use board's ruling rejecting 21 of 23 challenges brought by opponents of a controversial plan for a Bradwood Landing liquefied natural gas terminal in Clatsop County, Ore.

The petitioners, among them green groups Columbia Riverkeeper and the Oregon chapter of the Sierra Club, mailed the petition a day late, according to the order of dismissal in the Court of Appeals of the State of Oregon.
