Patent Contributor Not 'Co-Inventor': Fed. Circ.

Law360 (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Finding that a person who contributed part of a patent claim that is also prior art cannot be listed as a co-inventor, a federal appeals court has reversed and remanded Nartron Corp.'s infringement suit against Borg Indak Inc. over a patent for a controller that adds massage capabilities to a car seat.
