Dow Chemical Vows To Clean Up Latex Site: EPA

Law360, New York (March 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Dow Chemical Co. has vowed to investigate possible contamination at subsidiary General Latex Chemical Co.'s property in Ohio and to carry out any cleanup operations environmental regulators require at the site, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced Friday.

Under a corrective action agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Dow will assess the condition of its subsidiary’s vacant site in Ashland, Ohio, and address any hazardous waste found at the property, the EPA said.
