Md. Court Revives Gov.'s Child Care Program Order

Law360, New York (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Maryland appeals court has ruled to reinstate an executive order by Gov. Martin O’Malley that established a child care assistance program, reversing a decision by a lower court in favor of a trade association, two state legislators and others who contended the program created a price-fixing mechanism for child care and limited participation by certain provider-representative labor groups.
