EPA Proposes National Emissions Reporting System

Law360, New York (March 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday proposed the first national system of reporting carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions by large-scale emitters in an effort to shape more informed climate change policy.

“Our efforts to confront climate change must be guided by the best possible information,” EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said in a statement.
