Trump Names Deputy For Perry's Department Of Energy

By Michael Phillis (April 4, 2017, 12:15 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump on Monday announced his intent to nominate a veteran and former higher up at the nation's leading provider of financial services for members of the armed forces to be the deputy secretary at the Department of Energy under Rick Perry.

If confirmed, it will be Dan R. Brouillette's second time working at the DOE. He was nominated by former President George W. Bush to serve as an assistant secretary of energy more than 15 years ago.
