Jury Hits Exxon With $150M Payout For Gas Leak

Law360, New York (March 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Baltimore County Circuit Court jury on Tuesday awarded about $150 million to residents after finding Exxon Mobil Corp. liable for an undetected gas leak at a service station that contaminated surrounding groundwater supplies in Jacksonville, Md., and poured 26,000 gallons of gas into the ground in 2006.
