Regulators Unveil Reporting Forms For Money Service Firms

Law360, New York (April 19, 2017, 2:13 PM EDT) -- State banking regulators on Tuesday released a group of measures that they say will make it easier for money service businesses, including online lenders and other financial technology firms, to submit quarterly reports to regulators around the country.

The Conference of State Bank Supervisors said its new Money Services Businesses Call Report tool would allow firms that transfer money, ranging from money transmitters to check cashers, to file one quarterly report that would be distributed to supervisors in states where they operate.
