Enviros Lodge 1st CRA Challenge Over Nixed Wildlife Rule

Law360, Los Angeles (April 20, 2017, 9:49 PM EDT) -- An environmental group sued the federal government Thursday for pulling back protections for certain Alaskan wildlife in what the organization says is the first constitutional challenge of its kind to the Congressional Review Act.

The Center for Biological Diversity said President Donald Trump’s administration jammed through its repeal of the prior administration’s rule that barred killing wolves and pups in their dens and other aggressive hunting of predators on wildlife refuges, according to its suit on Thursday.
