8th Circ. Will Not Rehear Qwest Billing Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (March 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Wednesday denied Firstcom Inc.'s petition for rehearing an antitrust and fraud suit against Qwest Corp., upholding the dismissal of the case, which alleged that Qwest had shut the smaller telecommunications company out of the market by secretly offering its competitors better deals.
