Christian College Exempt From NLRB Order: DC Circ.

Law360, New York (March 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Carroll University's affiliation with the Presbyterian Church exempts it from the jurisdiction of the National Labor Relations Board, a federal appeals court has found, overturning an NLRB order that the college bargain with its faculty's union.

On Friday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit found that the Waukesha, Wis., university's religious affiliation placed it beyond the jurisdiction of the NLRB.
