SC Residents Seek Class Cert. In Toxic Train Spill

Law360, New York (March 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of South Carolina residents is seeking class status in a suit against Norfolk Southern Railway Co., saying thousands were left out of a 2005 settlement between the railway and area residents over a toxic vapor plume that was released after a tanker collided with a freight train.
