Regulatory Reform Afoot For Insurance: Report

Law360, New York (March 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Insurance regulators have developed new proposals in recent months to revamp insurance regulations, including establishing new guidelines for reinsurance policies, according to an annual report from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

State insurance regulator association NAIC released its 2008 annual report, “Navigating Change,” on Monday, revealing that regulatory change is on the table for the insurance industry.
