Enterasys Denied New Trial In Router Patent Case

Law360, New York (March 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to grant Enterasys Networks Inc. a new trial but agreed to modify the terms of an injunction against the networking company in a patent suit with rival Extreme Networks Inc.

Judge Barbara B. Crabb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin on Monday narrowed the injunction so Enterasys could use the allegedly infringing routers at issue in its internal networks and to perform diagnostic testing when providing customer service on the products.
