BAA Told To Sell 3 UK Airports Within 2 Years

Law360, New York (March 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- BAA Ltd. has been ordered to sell three of its airports in England and Scotland in the next two years to allay regulators' concerns that the company has a stranglehold on the U.K. airport network.

The U.K. Competition Commission issued a final report Thursday requiring the company to make the divestitures, starting with Gatwick Airport in London, then Stansted Airport in London and either Edinburgh or Glasgow airport in Scotland.
