House Members Seek AIG Answers From Treasury

Law360, New York (March 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Twenty-five members of the U.S. House of Representatives have signed onto a resolution calling for Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner to turn over all information relating to the payment of post-bailout bonuses at American International Group Inc., as well as any details about future action AIG plans to take.

The resolution, co-sponsored by House Republicans Steven C. LaTourette, R-Ohio, and Thaddeus McCotter, R-Mich., would give Geithner 14 days to turn over any documents, records or communications the Dept. of Treasury has about the troubled insurance...
