Sessions Memo Could Create Friction In Plea Negotiations

Law360, New York (May 17, 2017, 9:59 PM EDT) -- Most criminal cases end in plea deals, many after long and intense negotiations — a process that sometimes hits road bumps and may see more after U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions told federal prosecutors last week to pursue the "most serious, readily provable offense."
