Proskauer Atty Can Proceed As 'Jane Doe' In Sex Bias Suit

Law360, New York (May 18, 2017, 5:12 PM EDT) -- The female partner suing Proskauer Rose LLP for $50 million over alleged gender discrimination can shield her identity from public disclosure and proceed with the case under a Jane Doe pseudonym, a Washington, D.C., federal judge ruled Wednesday. 

U.S. District Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson granted the Proskauer partner’s request, filed concurrently with her May 12 complaint, to proceed with the case under the pseudonym and file personally identifying information under seal.
