Microsoft Streets & Trips Infringes 4 Patents: TomTom

Law360, New York (March 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- TomTom Global Assets BV has filed a suit alleging Microsoft Corp.'s Streets & Trips software infringes four navigation-related patents, less than a month after Microsoft filed complaints against TomTom NV in district court and the U.S. International Trade Commission over several of the software giant's patents.

TomTom Global Assets, a TomTom NV subsidiary, filed its suit against Microsoft in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Tuesday, seeking injunctive relief and treble damages.
