By Keith Goldberg (May 24, 2017, 3:07 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump on Tuesday picked a nuclear nonproliferation expert and current partner at Fluet Huber & Hoang PLLC to serve as the U.S. Department of Energy's top lawyer, signifying the administration's continued emphasis on the DOE's nuclear weapons responsibilities as opposed to energy research and development.
Trump said he intends to nominate David S. Jonas, who's been at Fluet Huber since 2016, as DOE general counsel.
