Law360, Grand Rapids (May 26, 2017, 4:56 PM EDT) -- Millennial lawyers are unlikely to accept the legal industry’s status quo of “rigid hierarchies, hourly billing [and] manual paperwork” as they take up leadership roles in law firms and corporations, a new report predicts.

Over the next 30 years, millennials will replace baby boomers as the dominant demographic group in society and within law firms and corporate legal departments, allowing them to rewrite the rules of legal commerce, according to “The Rise of the Millennial Lawyer,” a report released Wednesday by legal industry consultant Jordan Furlong. ...
