Cybersecurity Firm Illumio Raises $125M In New Funding

By Adam Rhodes (June 7, 2017, 5:45 PM EDT) -- Privately held adaptive cybersecurity company Illumio has closed on a $125 million funding round that will be used to fuel its growth in the data center and cloud security sectors, the company said Wednesday.

A host of existing venture capital investors including Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Data Collective and Accel, as well as San Francisco-based investment service 8VC, participated in the funding round, along with unnamed new and existing investors, Illumio said, led by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

This latest round expands Illumio's total funding to $267 million.
