EPA Moves To Regulate Greenhouse Gases

Law360, New York (March 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has reportedly sent a document to the White House labeling carbon dioxide a danger to public health and welfare, in a move that could give EPA the power to regulate greenhouse gases as pollutants.

An EPA representative confirmed Monday that the endangerment finding had gone to the White House's Office of Management and Budget on Friday, saying it was an “internal and deliberative document” and declining further comment.
