Spansion Opts For Latham, Duane Morris In Ch.11

Law360 (March 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has authorized Spansion Inc. to retain Latham & Watkins LLP as bankruptcy counsel, while Duane Morris LLP and Baker & McKenzie LLP await the court’s approval as Delaware counsel and special counsel, respectively.

On Tuesday, Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware authorized Spansion to retain Latham & Watkins as the company tackles reorganization and contemplates the potential sale of its assets.
