ITC Probe Adds To Whirlpool Feud With Samsung, LG

Law360, Washington (June 13, 2017, 7:49 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Tuesday that it had initiated a rare safeguard investigation prompted by Whirlpool Corp. into alleged harm to U.S. industry done by surging washing machine imports from Samsung and LG Electronics Inc., in a case the ITC called “extraordinarily complicated.”
