Dewey & LeBoeuf Retained In Libyan Oil Refinery Plan

Law360, New York (March 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Dubai's Al Ghurair Group has retained Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP as adviser in a project to partially privatize Libya's largest oil refinery and undertake up to $2 billion in upgrades, the law firm announced Wednesday.

Partner John Podgore, who is based in Dubai, will lead the Dewey & LeBoeuf team, assisted by associate Chris King and others in the firm's Dubai and London offices, the firm said in a statement.
