Ex-HealthSouth CEO, Former Gov. Seek Rehearing

Law360 (March 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former HealthSouth Corp. CEO Richard Scrushy and former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman have asked an appeals court to take a second look at their convictions and sentences in a government corruption case alleging campaign contributions in exchange for a seat on a state regulatory board.

Scrushy and Siegelman filed separate petitions in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit on Wednesday and Thursday seeking a rehearing en banc of their convictions, handed down by a three-judge panel of the same court earlier this month....
