$12M Bad Faith Suit In Folding Chair Mishap Tossed

Law360, New York (March 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A furniture maker's $12 million lawsuit against AIU Insurance Co. was thrown out Thursday after a judge ruled the insurer did not act in bad faith when it settled a paralyzed Florida woman's liability claims after she fell from a folding chair into a dry lake bed.
