By Bill Donahue (July 11, 2017, 7:52 PM EDT) -- The firms filing the most trademark lawsuits over the second quarter of 2017 were once again led by specialized anti-counterfeiting boutiques representing top fashion and apparel brands.
According to data compiled by Lex Machina, 25-attorney Chicago firm Greer Burns & Crain Ltd. topped the list for the second quarter in a row with 25 new cases, filed on behalf of brands such as Levi Strauss, Luxottica, Cartier and others.
Tied for first with 25 new suits of its own was the firm of Stephen M. Gaffigan, a Florida-based boutique that similarly represents for top apparel brands such as Tiffany, Chanel, Adidas,...
