Scams, Pay-For-Delay In FTC's Crosshairs This Year

Law360, New York (March 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Top priorities this year at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission will include targeting health care costs, closely reviewing merger cases and protecting consumers from fraudulent credit schemes, the agency noted in its annual report released Friday.

The report, issued at the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law Spring Meeting in Washington on Friday, highlighted recent agency actions and the commission's key concerns for the upcoming year.
