11th Circ. Drops Europeans From Crash Suit V. Cessna

Law360 (March 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit has upheld a lower court's dismissal of the claims of 69 European plaintiffs against Cessna Aircraft Co. over a fatal airplane crash in Milan.

A three-judge panel handed down the ruling Friday, upholding a decision by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to dismiss the European plaintiffs from the case based on forum non conveniens.
