Economic Anxiety Could Kill Firms' Urge To Merge

Law360, New York (March 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Despite predictions that the ongoing economic crisis could spur more law firm mergers this year, some legal experts contend that the linkups don't ultimately save firms a significant amount of money and that the fear of taking on another firm's finances could deter firms from joining forces.
