Regulators Update On Monitoring Of Financial Infrastructure

Law360, London (July 17, 2017, 5:04 PM BST) -- International regulators have updated the principles that underpin the supervision and management of financial market infrastructures used in the clearing, settlement and recording of financial transactions such as payments, securities, and derivatives contracts.

The International Organization of Securities Commissions, a trade body known as IOSCO, and the Committee on Payments and Markets Infrastructure, or CPMI — part of the Bank for International Settlements — have published their fourth update on how countries are progressing toward adopting the principles.
