Defective Boat-Paint Claims Not All Covered: Judge

Law360, New York (March 31, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a dispute over whether insurer Mid-Continent Casualty Co. must cover litigation costs arising from the sale of allegedly defective boat paint, a judge has found that many claims against paint seller Clean Seas Co. Inc. are excluded from coverage and that a deductible applies to each boat owner in instances where there is coverage.
