FPL Asks Fla. Judge To Toss Enviros' Suit Over Nuclear Plant

Law360, Miami (August 3, 2017, 7:31 PM EDT) -- Florida Power & Light Co. asked a federal judge Thursday to dismiss a challenge from environmental groups over alleged water pollution from its Turkey Point nuclear plant near Miami, arguing that the groups were impermissibly asking the court to second-guess decisions by regulatory agencies.
