Former Ariz. Enviro Director Tapped For EPA Post

Law360, New York (April 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Obama has decided to nominate the former director of Arizona's environmental regulator to fill a top post at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, according to the White House.

On Wednesday, Obama named several nominees for key administration posts, including Stephen A. Owens, who has also worked as an environmental attorney in private practice, for assistant administrator of the EPA's Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances.
