For 8 Years, One Firm Led Both Sides Of Biz Litigation

Law360, Los Angeles (August 4, 2017, 6:48 PM EDT) -- Over the last eight years, one law firm has dominated the pack on both sides of the table in commercial litigation, and the majority of all commercial litigation — cases with claims like breach of contract — was duked out in California’s Central District, a data scientist told Law360 on Friday.

Greenberg Traurig LLP represented plaintiffs in 333, and defendants in 401, commercial cases since 2009, according to a report by Lex Machina, outpacing fellow firms like DLA Piper, which defended 299 cases in the same period, and Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC, which brought 227.
