Obama Nominates 2 For Appeals Courts

Law360 (April 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Obama has tapped Judge Andre Davis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and Judge Gerard Lynch of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to fill two vacancies on federal appeals courts.

The president on Thursday nominated Judge Davis to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and Judge Lynch to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
